About Us.

Birch & Oak services is run by two West Sussex locals, Charlie (29) and Samuel (28) . We’ve been friends since the age of 7, and both have a passion for gardening and wildlife. Outside of work we often play sport and holiday together every so often. Samuel was also one of Charlies best men at his wedding in 2024.

Charlie grew up on farm just outside of Ashington with 32 acres of land and woodland and has been growing plants and gardening form a young age. Alongside gardening, Charlies other passion lies in sport. He obtained a degree in physical Education and sports coaching in 2017 at the University of Chichester and does some personal training in his spare evenings.

Samuel has lived in Upper Beeding all his life with the South Downs on his doorstep and has a love for animals and nature. He has a fondness for hiking and often travels to climb various mountains.

Being friends for over 20 years provides us with the perfect platform to work together. We enjoy each others company (most of the time) which can make even the most tedious of jobs enjoyable.
